I saw Kyprian sleeping in his chair and thought "I'm sure I have picture of Emberly sleeping just like that. I should get another one."

Later on Mark and Emberly went outside to play. I had been keeping her in the house since she was sick, but because it was so nice out I thought it would be nice for her to get outside. I texted Mark and told him Emberly should come in soon to take a bath and get ready for bed. He said they were just a few blocks away. I thought that meant they were on their way home and started running bath water (and didn't hear my phone ring). Turns out Mark had her in the junky, but small packing, umbrella stroller and was running to the park so she could play for a little bit. As my phone rang for a second time, I answered it. On the other end was a panicked Mark telling me to come get them, in the background I could hear my sweet little girl screaming and crying. Mark said there was blood everywhere and we needed to go to the emergency room. I threw Kyprian in his carseat (hit the carseat on pretty much everything possible), got in the car and went to get them. I drove like a crazy person down Chicago, going way faster than I should have and passing cars in places I shouldn't have been. I have never been so thankful to live so close to Children's Hospital. Emberly was a rockstar in the Emergency Room. She got to watch a princess movie, play with princess toys, read a princess story and even got a wand to bring home. Kyprian did pretty amazing as well...since I woke him up from his nap to go. They had to reposition her front tooth. I was amazed at how well Emberly did. She is such an amazing and beautiful little girl. I can't say enough nice things about Children's either-when we left Emberly was already talking about the next time she could come back.

I was sad to see her favorite hoodie covered in blood. After asking for suggestions on how to get it out (and having plenty of testing area), I found that a combination of Murphy's Floor Oil Soap, Peroxide and spit got it out.

I saved the hoodie!!!
