Christmas Day Presents!

I got all kinds of neat things for Christmas! I was so excited to open presents!
I got a dress for my doll.

I got a new shirt.

I love to help hand out the presents to everyone...and help them open it!

I picked this out for Mommy. I really thought she would like it-and she did, she loved it!
As soon as she took it out of the package, I claimed it as mine though. =)

wrapping paper tube battle

one amazing battle.

Christmas Breakfast!

We always get to enjoy cinnamon rolls for breakfast Christmas morning.

It was sooo yummy!

Later I got to enjoy a cookie with Grandma!

I tried to eat her cookie too, but Mom said to let Grandma eat her own cookie.

Christmas Eve 2010

Breakfast time! I just climbed right up to the table!

I think I can handle sitting in the big chairs!

I have claimed my spot for the gift opening ceremony-usually the older people sit here, but they were too slow and I got the good spot this time! =)
Here I am thanking Daddy's Aunt Alice for the Hello Kitty doll she gave me.

Dinner stop

We stopped at McDonald's for dinner on the way to Grandma Meyers house. I got to sit with this strange guy and play at the lego table - it was pretty cool. I showed Mom my best smile for the picture.

Christmas at Papa's

I was so excited to open all the presents!!

I'm ready now-can we open them??

Papa gave me all kinds of neat things, dishes with Elmo and Zoe, Hello Kitty coloring book and puzzle, new sweaters and pants!
I love all my new things!!

It was fun to celebrate Christmas at Papa's house

Water in the face

After trying to find the best way to rinse Emberly's hair without a total meltdown, Mark has discovered some magical thing and now she thinks it's hilarious!

Wrapping presents?

I saw some tissue paper laying out and thought it would be fun to wrap presents like Mommy does. I decided to start with my snowboot.

Then I went and got the other one to wrap it as well. It's so much fun to wrap things!

Warming up...

I took a really long bath tonight-it was so much fun, but I was a little chilly when I got out.

So Daddy wrapped me up in the blanket to help me warm up a little bit.

It was nice for a little while, but let's be real - I need to be moving around to warm up not sitting down trapped in a blanket!

Reading and Blizzard

I love to read stories!!
I really love to sing the itsy bitsy spider!

Mom and Dad made me hang out outside while they shoveled after the big blizzard was done. It was not fun! And I'm not even big enough to play in the snow anymore-take some away please!
At least they shoveled a path for me to get into my house- I hid in here until they were done shoveling =)

Oh Emberly...

I'm pretty sure this is my all time favorite outfit. My shirt matches my best friend Ella's and the tights are from my other best friend Emily. I request this outfit often, but Mom only lets me wear it once a week...something about laundry...

I was so excited about my new plate I forgot to let Mom wash my face after enjoying a cookie!

Papa and Lulu's house

Lulu helped me fix my necklace-it was Mommy's when she was little, so Lulu remembered it.

I was so thirsty I needed two cups to drink from!

You can barely see me, but if you look close enough I'm hiding behind Papa's chair under the countertop.
I love to play hide and seek!!

I also love to do yoga....downward facing dog.

Look what I can do!

Daddy asked if I could put my feet to my face....of course I can Daddy!

Look at how easy it is-I don't even have to bend my legs!

Can't everyone do this?

Hollidazzle!

Tonight is another special occasion so I thought I'd fancy things up a bit with more new clothes from Papa and Connie...and some sparkly shoes from Mommy's discussion group girls.

The parade was really fun to watch. I thought everything was a 'choo choo'.
The most exciting part of the whole parade was when the buses would drive underneath us.
I would get so excited and scream BUS every time!

Then we walked through the 8th floor of Macy's and our friend took this really great picture of us.
Thanks Staceys for such a great night!!

Emberly turns 2!

Today is my actual birthday. I was so excited about the dress Papa and Connie gave me I wanted to wear it today.
I also enjoy this new Elmo toy!

I can't believe that after not napping Mom and Dad took me out to ride some rides!
I got to ride the pink puppy!!! And we saw our friend Kimisha!

Daddy rode the Big Rigs with me. I didn't think either of these rides were very exciting.

Mommy rode the roller coaster with me. All the other kids sounded like they were having a great time...I thought it was a little boring even sitting in the front seat. I really wanted to ride the big roller coaster or the super tall ride that raises you up to the ceiling and drops you down-now those looked like fun!

Birthday Party Day!

Today is the day of my birthday party, so Mom measured me to see how much I've grown over the past year. Wow! I'm so tall!!

I took this picture myself.
I'm still working on getting just the right angle, but
I think I'm pretty good at this photography thing.

I loved opening all the presents!!

But really the best part was the cupcakes Mom made!!
They were soooo yummy!
Mom made Abby Caddabby, Zoe and Elmo cupcakes.
I even got to eat 2 of them!!!
(then because of a sugar overload I threw up right before bed and got to take a bath)
