Popsicles

We got to have popsicles at Papa's house. When Mom asked what kind I had, I told her, "not orange." So here I am eating my not orange popsicle.

A weekend at Papa's

Mom and I came out to Papa's house to stay for the weekend since Daddy is in Haiti with the youth group for 10 days. Papa hooked up the sprinkler and I ran around outside in it for a while. It was really fun when Papa put on the sprayer for the hose and I got to spray the water. The best part of the whole time was turning around and spraying Mom with the hose. I have really good aim and kept spraying her even as she tried to run away. We all thought it was pretty funny.

Naptime in New Places

Today instead of sleeping in my own bed I thought it would be fun to climb into my brother's crib and play around. I called for Mom to come see that I did it by myself. She came and saw me and left me in here. I wanted to get out and not nap, but Mom said I need a grown-up to help me out and naptime wasn't over. She just left me in here. After about 15 minutes of yelling and playing around I gave in and went to sleep. Mom has since tipped the mattress up so I can't climb in the crib anymore.

I also like to take the special things we bought for my brother and sleep with them as well.

I have taken his kiki (blankie) and added it to my collection.

Bike Ride to Harriet

I love going to Home Depot with Daddy. The best part is the cart ride in the parking lot before we leave!

Time for Bed?

After running around at the Falls with my friends, Daddy came home from his weekend trip. The Hollidays invited us over for lunch. Today was the 5th day in a row I didn't take a nap. Mom thinks she might go crazy if I don't start napping again. We went and spent the afternoon at the Holliday's. I got to spend pretty much the whole day with my best friend!! Daddy and I were so tired we fell asleep on the couch before 6! Mommy was surprised and laid me in my bed. I slept the whole night and didn't wake up until 8 the next morning!!!

Hair clip helper

Today we had church at Minnehaha Falls. It was really fun to see Ella. My hair clip was coming out of my hair, so my friend Ella tried to help my put it back in.

One of my toys fell under the couch.

I went and got a flashlight all by myself and searched under the couch for my toys.

I had to look a couple times to find all the toys I had dropped.

Eventually I got them all!!

Pool Party!

I was really nervous in the water at first. I wouldn't let go of Mom.

After I got on my floaty stuff I got a little more comfortable in the water.

Daddy and I were being silly.

By the end of the night I was trying to get into the deep end of the pool, by the diving board, by myself with just my floaty ring.

Mom and Dad couldn't believe how brave I was by the end of the night.

Sprinkler Fun!

It was so warm and humid outside that Mommy's camera lens fogged up when she tried to take a picture of me.

It's fun to run through the sprinkler!

And now time for some stretching... or dancing??

I definitely need my goggles while I play in the sprinkler.

Lake day and Smores

Today we got to go to Lake Nokomis. I love going to the lake! It was really fun to hang out with my best friend Ella. Daddy swam all the way out to the dock to hang out with some of our youth group friends.

Then Daddy made smores for us to enjoy!!

It was sooo messy and soooo yummy!

I needed another bath after my delicious treat!

stickers

Today during nap time I took all the stickers I had on my clothes off. I stuck them on the wall and the blankets. After naptime was done I told Mom about the stickers. Mom was happy they weren't very sticky anymore and came off easily.

Fun at the pool

Mom and Dad took me to Wabun Park.

The pool there is really neat to look at. I like to carry my 'floaty toy' with me as I walk around.

I think these things are neat, but really don't like to get splashed by them.

My favorite thing to do is sit in the shallowest part of the water and watch all the other kids play.

Happy 4th of July

Here I am resting up for a big night of fireworks.

Later, at the park, I discovered that I really only like fireworks from a distance.

They were fun to see far away, but I didn't really like the ones all the kids were

setting off right by us.
