push-ups

Recently I have begun a strict exercise routine.  I need to build up arm strength, so I have been doing push-ups.  Daddy counts them for me.  He counts down from 100 as I do them so I know how many I have left.

Bike Ride

Daddy really wants to take me out in the Burley, but Mommy told him I have to have a helmet on...so he went and bought the smallest one he could find.  Really Dad, this is the smallest not dorky looking one you could find...it's GINORMOUS! At least it's pink.  Maybe with a giant pink helmet people won't assume I'm a boy - which seems to happen frequently.  

Mom and Dad loaded everything up in the Burley - including me.  I was a little small to be in there...so I let them know with some screaming that it wasn't very comfortable.  Mom grabbed a pillow from the house for me to sit on.  It raised me up enough that the buckles worked.  Off we went.  

I'd give the 7 minute bike ride a 3.5 out of 5.  It was really neat to see outside and feel the breeze blow in my face, but the bumps were a little too much, my helmet kept sliding down on my face and it was mighty difficult to sit up with the way I was strapped in there.  Maybe no helmet and a different plan next time??

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is Mom's birthday!  I thought I'd make some cute faces for Mom to capture on camera and remember forever.  Not quite sure why the one is kind of fuzzy...  either way it was a fun day.  When Mom and I got home from our friend's house, some more friends came to visit.  Ben and Janielle hung out with me while Dad took Mom out to Mongolian Barbeque.  Then they stopped and geocached.  Mom dropped her phone in the creek - oops!  It still works though!!  They got home just as I was going to bed.  Mom came in and re-wrapped me nice a snug and I fell asleep.  

Time with Dad

I was just hanging out with Dad on the couch and Mom decided to take some pictures.  Daddy tried out different kinds of smiles.  I decided to see if I could maintain the same facial expression throughout all of the pictures.  I feel as though I did quite a nice job with the exception of the third picture.  It was had to hold back a smile for that long, so Mom got a little grin for that one.

Daddy gave me a bath tonight.  He put this thing on the wall that made lots of noise.  It shot out bubbles, but the coolest part was all the noise it made.  It was also pretty great when Dad dropped it in the tub - woops!  

After my nice relaxing bath, I slipped into my robe and ducky slippers to hang out for a bit while I dried off.  Not too long though, gotta get a diaper on quick. =)

Andrew really is a great guy...who happens to be in youth group and trying to convince us he's going to marry Emberly.  We thought we'd ask her what she thought about it.
