A few random pics from the end of the year

Mom told Dad not to sleep on the couch with me.  Dad insisted he wasn't alseep. 

 I don't really know what happened-I was busy napping.

Grandpa came to visit!  He told me he would let me eat ice cream at his house.

Dear Jesus, please make it not so cold here.  Mom and Dad put all this silly stuff on me.  They say I look cute, but really we all know how ridiculous I look.  So maybe you could just warm the weather up so I don't have to be cold and look silly so often. k thanks-amen.

Christmas in Ohio

It was my first Christmas-and the best one so far.  It was a long trip from Minneapolis to Loveland, but seeing as how I am a month old already I figured it was time to leave the cold behind and head somewhere warmer.  Mom and Dad were happy they stopped and made it a two day trip instead of one.  They were also happy they got to rent a car to drive out there instead of our own car.  I think they were only excited about the car because they got a Jetta.  

Grandma and Uncle Jason were so excited to meet me.  

I got to meet lots of people while we were in Ohio.  Daddy bundled me up in my bearsuit-which I hate by the way-and took me a few houses down to meet some friends.  I am always the star of the party.  

The rest of Daddy's family was so excited to meet me, they wouldn't let me sleep.  Everyone wanted to hold me and play with me.  On Christmas Eve I started to make some new noises which made Mommy really excited!  Then on Christmas day I gave Daddy the best present ever-I smiled for him 3 times.  No smiles for Mommy though, only Dad.  

It was sad to leave Grandma's house to go home.  It was a fun trip and I can't wait to go back!

Portraits

Mom and Dad took me to get my picture taken.  It was a long ride in the car, but that's ok I slept most of the time anyway.  I did really well for Bridget.

Just another day...

I thought I should start today with a nice refreshing nap.  

Mom wrapped me up in this nice warm blanket, but I wanted to show off my strong arms.

After a quick change-which really isn't quite so quick as I am not very helpful-and a snack, I felt another nap was in order before continuing on with the day.

Mom and Dad said they were taking me somewhere.  I had never heard of the place before.  It must be top secret because I couldn't see where we were going.  

After our trip, I was up for some photos.  I decided I would let Mom take a couple of pictures before declaring it nap time again.

First Bath in the Tub

I got my first official bath in the bath tub.

I like to wiggle around and give Daddy a challenge.  Really I am just trying to stay warm-it's so cold in the bathroom!
