Wii!

Yesterday I played Guitar Hero and was pretty much the most amazing one playing...so today I figure I shall try out the wii.  

Is this how you use it??

Mom and Dad took me with to Party City to get props for Fall Retreat.  Daddy found this totally awesome hat/wig thing for me to wear.  I look great in a mohawk!

Mommy found this purple one.  I'm not sure I really like it as much as the green one.  Maybe if Mom could put it on as nicely as Dad did, it wouldn't be so bad.  I'm pretty sure Mom had no idea what she was doing.  

It's like all I am is a little toy to dress up and play with.

Guitar Hero

Today I got to try and play Guitar Hero.  Daddy was sleeping while I played...

I was so focused on the game I didn't even notice he had woken up...

OH YEAH!! Another perfect score!!

Family Day

Today I started off the day by charging Dad's iphone so we could go for a nice bike ride together as a family.  While Dad's iphone was charging, I figured I could update my facebook status...Emberly Meyers is sneaking some time on the computer while Daddy isn't looking, then it's off for a bike ride.

We ate at the 5-8 Club and then played on a hill near by.  Mommy shared some fries with me-they were soooo yummy!!  

Ok Dad listen up- I really enjoy this time with you and being outside.

Oh good, I can still make this face.

It's kinda scary back here...it's all bumpy, there's nothing to hold onto and all I can really see is Dad's back side...

10 Months

Ten months old and can kind of drink from the big kid cups!

Really she just enjoys holding it and sucking on the edge of the cup...whatever.

HA! she crunched up her blanket and used it as a pillow!

Just looking out the window...waiting for Daddy to come home.

Surprise!  Mommy got a big smile!!! =)

sleep texting?

She fell asleep while holding on to her phone...

The other day it was even better she had fallen asleep in the car holding onto the phone and this ipod toy she has...it was the cutest thing ever, but when we got home and closed the garage door she woke up before I could get a picture of it.

Service Please!

It was another rough day today. I stood at the coffee table demanding drinkage for these lonely coasters only to receive nothing.

...so I decided to text all my friends and tell them how Mom won't let me eat or drink from the big kid cup unless I'm in the kitchen. I spent the rest of the afternoon on the cell.

 Daddy came home and played with my on my new toy!  I love riding around on it!!!

Round peg, round hole

Emberly has found a new place for her finger to fit...

It also fits well in the mouth...and rotates between the two - eww!

Then she give the "What's the problem here?" look.  =)

Minnesota Zoo

We went to the Minnesota Zoo today.  Emberly had a great time!  We aren't totally sure which animals she really saw because she wouldn't look the direction we were pointing.  We know she enjoyed the ones which moved.  She really loved the fish.  All the bright colors and movement caught her eye.  

We went to the butterfly garden.  I think she enjoyed watching the other kids just as much as watching the butterflies fly around.

Some of the animals were pretty active while we were there - a nice change from the usual laying around all the time that we normally see.  

It was also fun to watch the otters play and the prairie dogs run around.  Two animals guaranteed to be active =).  

The prairie dogs reminded us of Emberly at home.  They would scurry around on all fours then pop up to a stand randomly.  It was similar to the way she crawls around and then pops her cute little head up by the coffee table or couch...or wall or anything she can get leverage on to stand up.  

She seemed extra fascinated with the giraffe, which came rather close to us.  

Bath Time Fun!

Bath time has just started and I have already found my favorite bath toy.

And now I'm going to taste the shower curtain.

Sneaky Girl

Emberly has now discovered the secret space where we had been storing things in the living room.  She has also mastered the skill of standing up when something low is in front of her.  It's still hard to pull up on taller things such as the couch or coffee table.  If she wouldn't hold on with her mouth, she might have a slight bit more success.
