Hot Dog

After all that swimming, I was hungry before bed. I asked Mom for a hotdog, but told her she couldn't warm it up. I also asked for ketchup. It was great!

Pearl Park Pool

Daddy is gone for the week in Chicago with some of the youth group. Mommy didn't feel like setting up our pool, so we walked down to Pearl and went swimming there instead.

I like to hold onto the side and kick my legs.

I also thought it was really fun to walk around the edge of the pool. I got braver and went out into the middle on my own.

I really like to watch the big kids play.

Swinging at the park with Papa

Papa let me swing in the big kid swing.

I kept telling him I didn't want to be pushed.

I thought it was fun to let go of the chains and not hold on....until I fell off.

Then I was done swinging.

A typical purse...

We were getting ready to leave the house and I wanted to bring my baby, purse and blanket with.

Daddy said there wasn't enough room in my purse and I would have to take something out so the blanket could fit. So I emptied out the purse....I only had a few things in there...

I couldn't figure out why Mommy and Daddy were laughing so much.

There wasn't that much stuff in there.

Headstand

I always see Daddy doing different yoga moves. I tried to do a headstand.

I took this bin of toys out and was playing with them. Daddy started to chase me, so I threw all the important toys back in, climbed in and tried to hide from him.

It finally got quiet in my room and Mom peeked in to see if I was really sleeping.

Of course I'm sleeping....I've been busy.

Mom counted somewhere around 15 wipes in my bed along with a used tube of chapstick.

I was so tired after using and cleaning up all that chapstick from me and my baby, I just leaned over and fell asleep.

Naptime was obviously needed today.

I wrapped my baby up and put her in bed to take a nap.

Mommy should be happy-at least someone is getting a nap in.

Our neighbor friend Ohka came swimming too.

Mommy is concerned about my baby, but she's fine. I've got a firm grip on her foot!
